Envestis SA - founded in Lugano, Ticino. We design and engineer high-performance websites, e-commerce platforms, AI applications and custom software. Same team that built and operates SiteGrade.
From client work to a SaaS, and back.
Envestis SA started as a web agency engineering custom websites and software for Swiss businesses. We were the team clients called when their off-the-shelf tools did not fit, when their site was due for a rebuild, or when they needed an integration nobody had written yet.
Along the way we built SiteGrade.io, an audit platform for web agencies. It started as an internal tool to assess client sites before pitching a rebuild. Today web agencies around the world use it.
We keep the agency focused on purpose. The platform pays our bills; client engineering work is how we stay close to the code, to clients, and to the problems we then solve at scale through SiteGrade.
Lugano, Ticino, Switzerland.
Italian-speaking corner of Switzerland, half an hour from Milan, three hours from Zurich. Close to clients in Ticino and northern Italy, comfortable working with the rest of the country in any language they prefer.

Build to last
Boring stack on purpose. Tools that will still exist in five years. No framework chasing.
You own the code
No lock-in. No proprietary CMS you cannot leave. Repository access from day one. Documentation by default.
Security is baseline
Every site ships hardened. CSP, headers, dependencies updated. Not because we sell SiteGrade. Because it should not be optional in 2026.
No phantom velocity
Weekly demos. Real progress, not Gantt charts. If something is slipping, you hear about it that week, not the day of launch.
The platform we built for our own client work.
SiteGrade started as an internal tool. We needed to assess client sites before pitching a rebuild: security holes, GDPR gaps, performance problems, all in one report a client could actually read. Nothing on the market did the three together.
Three years later SiteGrade.io is a full B2B SaaS used by web agencies worldwide. We still build every layer ourselves: scanner engine in Python, Flask web app, billing, narrative reports, Cloudflare edge marketing site. That experience flows back into every Envestis project.
